Reverse Engineer Car Parts with CAD | Fender Modeling from SCAN Data - Part 1

Описание к видео Reverse Engineer Car Parts with CAD | Fender Modeling from SCAN Data - Part 1

In this video we get started reverse engineering a 1976 Fiat Spider Fender using Fusion 360 forms tools. Reverse Engineering parts based of scans is a tough process. The quality of the scan has a direct impact on how good your final part will be. In Part 1 we will create the based fender shape using the scan as a guideline but never snapping to it with any form tools. This process can be used no matter how good(or bad) your scan is. Because the user that provided this scan was nice enough to share it, you can follow along here. https://a360.co/3A5LvDG

Because this is a long detailed process I am going to break this up into multiple videos.

This first video will get us the major shape of the fender and provide enough workflow/tools to create nearly any fender.
